Lady Laura is an aristocratic anomaly! Beautiful, with a sexy accent and infinitely talented, Lady Laura is also a natural salsa dancer!
Laura is an ex-professional ballerina (with The Royal Ballet) and television actress, with numerous films and staring roles to her name, including 'The Sunchild', 'Crystalstone' and 'Cristabel'. She is a successful business woman with numerous 'strings to her bow' including a recruitment company in Middlesex, owner of an independent pre-preparatory school and nursery in Hertfordshire, owner and founder of the corporate salsa company Salsa Salsa as well as partner in the Adult Salsa Class Business 'Salsa Revolution'. She brings much that she has learnt from her own performing experience to her classes and Laura's expertise with choreography brings even the simplest moves to life - with a showmanship that is unique and habitually watchable! Trained in Jazz, Tap, Modern, Street, Hip Hop, Flamenco, Afro-Caribbean dance and gymnastics, Laura uses her vast dance knowledge and training to develop new and exciting movements for Salsa. Well known for her 'sexy arms' and 'cavemen' quirky moves, her teaching is fast paced and exciting - you will never forget your 1st class with Laura.

DJ 'Chunky'
(Thursdays)
Teacher, Salsa DJ & SR Partner
This energetic and talented Salsa DJ is famous for his R&B/Salsa fusion music and movements. Chunky can dance and teach just as well as he can spin the salsa tunes! He has taught across the UK and Europe and even further afield. Chunky is known for his fluidity, smooth style, and 'Fred Astaire' grace. His TV salsa appearances include the BBC's BabyFather and Happiness.
His teaching style centres around breaking down the components into manageable 'Chunks' and his energy and charisma are infectious! Chunky notes his main salsa influences as being Simon&Cynthia, Robert Charlemagne, Leon Rose, Susana Montero, & Super Mario. He has been dancing salsa for many years and brings classes alive with his 'cheeky' and 'chunky' personality, and is a well respected salsa DJ.

Maria Chica Loca!

Improvers' Teacher
Maria is a real Salsa enthusiast. Her instruction combines her passion for dancing with a deep respect for the technical movements required for Salsa. She demonstrates a vast amount of professionalism and technique, mixed with a sparkling and witty personality that make her classes focused and fun at the same time.
Maria Garcia was born in Valladolid, Spain and it was there where she started learning (as a child) ballet, bolero, folklore, and flamenco. As an adult, Maria continued to dance in Alicante, Spain before she came to the UK to live. She was introduced to Salsa in the summer of 2002 and by 2004 she was teaching advanced Salsa classes in Woburn and then Dunstable. She has appeared on television and is accustomed to performing. She is currently teaching regular classes in London, Luton and at Salsa Revolution in Watford.

Barry & Janice 'Hot Salsa Couple'

Intermediate/Advanced Teachers
Dynamic, attractive salsa dancing couple with smooth and eye-catching dance moves. They started dancing at the Paul Alex school of latin dance and progressed with the tuition of teachers such as Super Mario, Shaan and Susana Montero. Their focus is on smooth, free flowing salsa, with an emphasis on timing, the beat and feeling the emotion in the music. Their teaching methods lend encouragement to the student, focusing on the quality of the movements and raising the students’ basic standards with every step. Barry and Janice are passionate about music and dance, encouraging all their students to learn, have fun and enjoy the spirit of Latin dancing.

Beginners' Teacher
Gus has been dancing salsa since December 2007 and is himself a former Salsa Revolution student.
He quickly caught the 'Salsa bug' and rapidly progressed with the tuition of the SR team. An enthusiastic dancer, Gus has also spent numerous hours learning from teachers such as: Dorian, Shaan, Super Mario, Mauricio Reyes and Mo Flex.
It is such dedication, coupled with his talent that has enabled Gus to excel
into the smooth flowing, dynamic dancer that he is today.
Gus is friendly and patient and the enthusiasm he has for dancing is reflected
in his teaching. He is dedicated to helping everyone to learn salsa, in a comfortable and fun way, at a pace that suits
them.

Dorian - Guest Teacher
Dorian has been dancing salsa for numerous years now and is one of the most agile and sinuous dancers on the salsa scene today. His fluid style and range of turn patterns has made him a well respected teacher and artiste. Dorian has performed at numerous congresses and is part of a renowned salsa group. His advanced classes are technically challenging and beautifully styled.

Aimee-Lee - Guest
Teacher
Aimee has been dancing Salsa for 7 years and was previously dance-trained in ballroom, latin, and contemporary. Aimee's favourite teachers and performers are Marchant Birch,Candice Leong, U-Tribe and Tropical Gem. Her teaching style not only focusses on steps and turn patterns but also teaches women how to make the transitions from move to move as gracefully as possible. Aimee also tries to give the men an idea of how their lead feels for a lady in order to help improve it. Her T.V. appearances include 'Down to Earth' and 'No Sex Please We're Teenagers'.
Aimee is an inspirational and experienced teacher whose passion for salsa and grace when dancing will benefit any class she teaches.
