What Services Do Salsa Revolution Offer?
DROP-IN CLASSES
We offer drop-in classes on a Thursday. You do not need to book for these
just come along and join in when you fancy it. If you find it hard to commit to a weekly
class then this is a good way for you to pick and choose which days suit your schedule.
3 WEEK INTENSIVE BEGINNERS/IMPROVERS COURSES
We also offer 3 week intensive salsa courses. These run for 2 hours per week over 3 weeks
on a Sunday. These courses are intensive and aim to move students up to the next level
at the end of the 3 week period.
The courses run on alternate months offering 2 levels of salsa, the 1st level is ‘Introduction to
Salsa’. This introduces absolute beginners to the salsa beat, basic steps, timing,
partner holds and basic partner work. The follow on course is ‘Beginners/Improvers’
salsa. This extends upon prior learning and covers more complex steps, rhythm, technique
and partner work. If you complete the 'Introduction to salsa' course you can then
immediately enrol for half price on the 'Beginners/Improvers' course. At the end of this course students should be equipped to move into our
weekly drop-in Improvers class with both confidence and a good standard of salsa knowledge.
PRIVATE LESSONS
We also offer private lessons before our regular class times for people who would prefer
to learn alone, or just with their partner. This service is also suitable for students
who need extra help transferring from one level to another or mastering a particularly
difficult concept such as spinning. Private lessons are for individuals or couples (that
just means 2 people - not necessarily partners or even of the opposite sex). Prices start
from £15 and depend upon level of Private Class being taught and whether it is 30mins or
1 hour duration.
