It is with great sadness that we inform our students that our wonderful teacher, Maria de Miguel (aka Maria Garcia Loca Chica) passed away on Sunday the 15th of August.
This Thursday (19th), we will be playing Maria's favourite songs and her famous ten minute warm down mash up of tracks to remember our lovely Maria in a way that we know she would appreciate. There will be a video of Maria to view and an opportunity to write in our condolence cards for her family. We are keeping the entrance price at £7 and all profits will be sent to her sister to help with the funeral costs etc. We wanted to help her family and feel that this is something that we can do to make their life easier at this difficult time.
The SR team and many teachers from other companies will be joining us to say goodbye to one of our best loved teachers and characters. Please join us this Thursday in a fitting celebration of Maria's life and her wonderful personality. EVERYONE IS WELCOME.
We will be holding lessons for all levels this Thursday the 19th August from 8pm at Highlight in Watford, but please note that it is our last Thursday of the summer as we will be closed for the holidays.
